Stranger Things Have Happened

It was not that long ago that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ava (Maura West) were at each other’s throats. The blackmail went back and forth between them at rapid-fire. Eventually, they blamed it all on Ric (Rick Hearst), and the two of them, along with Kristina (Kate Mansi), locked him in the basement.

The comedic timing between the three women was soap opera gold, and fans loved them together. All good things came to an end when Ric was released as a changed man. Ava and Alexis went their separate ways, but there is now a bond between them. They are complete opposites, but they work well together.

Alexis knew that Ava would be helpful with her investigation into Delilah (Lily Cardone).

Road Trip

Alexis discovered that Delilah was connected to the art world, which is Ava’s specialty, so it made sense to take her ex-enemy on a road trip to New York. They are trying to find any information about the mysterious woman who died while giving birth.

Alexis observed how connected Ava is to the NYC Art World. She was impressed with how Ava handled herself with the gallery owner, Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield). Longtime fans who remember Caulfield from Dynasty, Grease 2, and Empire Records were thrilled to see him on GH and hoped this wasn’t a one-and-done.

Ava was savvy when she talked Apollo into showing them a picture of Delilah and, surprisingly, a man they both knew. The duo was shocked to discover that Ethan (Nathan Dean) was connected to this mystery. They are bound to take a deeper dive.

Ava and Ethan only recently met, and there may have been a spark between them. This storyline has suddenly become a lot more interesting. What do you think will happen next?
