Emotional Tributes Pour In For Late Virgin River Cast Member

Stewart McLean, an actor known for his recent appearance on Netflix’s Virgin River, has died at the age of 45 amid an active homicide investigation in Canada.

Authorities in British Columbia confirmed that McLean had first been reported missing before his remains were discovered in Lions Bay later that week. Investigators are continuing to piece together the actor’s final movements as they examine surveillance footage, physical evidence and witness accounts.

Police described the case as an “isolated incident,” though few additional details have been publicly released.

McLean appeared in more than 30 productions throughout his career and was recognized for roles in series including Beyond and Traveler. Industry colleagues have described him as both talented and widely admired behind the scenes.

His talent agency called him “endlessly funny” and praised his professionalism and kindness.
