“Gina has been a victim of Eddie’s racist remarks first-hand, and she isn’t open to giving him a second chance,” says our Albert Square insider.
“The last time that he was in Walford, he treated her horrendously, and she fears that letting him back into their lives is a mistake they’ll live to regret.”
Turning to her dad, concerned Gina tries to express the severity of her concerns about Eddie’s living situation. However, the brainwashed boxer completely dodges the conversation.
“George refuses to discuss the matter with Gina, which only makes her feel all the more helpless,” explains our source.
“He won’t acknowledge the danger that his family could be in with killer Eddie under their roof – which is unwise, considering he has a newborn baby! It’s not like George to behave like this, but Eddie has had an evil hold on him since he was a youngster…”
Will Gina manage to make her fears heard? Or will George continue to blindly ignore his protective daughter’s pleas?
George is still unaware of the real reason why Nicola encouraged him to let his dad stay, which is that Eddie demanded she talk George round in exchange for a huge wad of cash that she desperately needs to keep Harry’s Barn afloat.
It was recently announced that George will be one of the main players in a special week of episodes at the start of June that will change everything for four Walford families.
The episodes will all take place across the course of a single night, after the dramatic events of Vicki and Ross’ wedding, and there will be repercussions for George, Denise, Ian and Max, as well as their loved ones.
What will the next few weeks hold for George and Nicola, and could the drama involve Eddie?
