Beyond the Gates Preview: Who Will Die?
For weeks, Fairmont Crest has been preparing for the cotillion. But if there’s one thing we know about soaps, it’s that big events usually coincide with big plot points… and they don’t get much bigger than what’s about to go down on Beyond the Gates! In fact, even as someone is being named Platinum Deb, a horrific turn of events will leave one person dead and an entire community rocked to its core!
According to executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers — and as teased in the video below — the episodes which begin airing on Monday, May 18, feature “a culmination of a big mystery that’s been going on [involving] Jacob.”
With a gleam in her eye, she added, “I’m not going to tell you much more, but there’s a big event happening the same night as the cotillion.”
There’s only one question left to answer now: Who is going to bite the bullet… most likely in a literal and metaphorical sense!
Given the way the blood plasma ring has unfolded, it seems incredibly likely that the victim will be… and it pains us to even suggest this… Jacob. After all, the spoilers — found here — reveal that in the aftermath, Andre and Dani are left having to comfort someone they love. That could certainly be Naomi, who is already privately dealing with the news that — despite what she’s led her family to believe — she tested positive for the BRCA gene. Mom Anita had Vernon by her side as she underwent cancer treatments. Will Naomi have to do so while also grieving her husband?
Of course, examining the evidence, there are definitely other possibilities as to who could die. Topping that list? Grayson, who has been up to his neck in The Impaler’s wicked plan. Might what goes down at the warehouse leave the hunky lab tech fighting for — and losing — his life?
While it seems unlikely, a truly ironic and heartbreaking twist would be if Ashley or Naomi wound up becoming an innocent victim of the ring their respective guys have been trying to break up. Even lower on the list would be local Clark Kent Smitty or hospital administrator and Impaler associate Lia!
Which leads us directly to another question: Who, exactly is The Impaler and will they be unmasked as their network crumbles?
