First Look At ‘Beyond the Gates’ Cotillion
It is the moment Beyond the Gates fans have been waiting for. The Barrington County Cotillion is finally here, beginning on Monday, May 18, 2026. The social event of the season kicks off, and Parade has your exclusive first look at the talked-about event.
What Is the Cotillion Storyline About?
The Barrington County Cotillion is a long-standing tradition for the Dupree family and will be held this year at the Fairmont Crest Country Club.
Three generations of Dupree family members have been a part of the cotillion in the past: Nicole Richardson Dupree (Daphnée Duplaix), Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), Kat (Colby Nixon), Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), and now Samantha (Najah Jackson) and Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller).
This year, 9 young debs with 9 young escorts are presented, as Samantha and her rival, Francesca “Chessy” Belleclaire (Madison Alsobrook), vie for the title of Platinum Debutante.

In the clip, Jessica and Samantha are seen getting ready for the social event, with Dani (Karla Mosley), Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), Kat, Nicole, and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) all assisting.
“The cotillion is finally here, the gowns, the dancing, the magic of it all. I love it,” Dani declares.
When Nicole points out that Dani was not herself a debutante, Dani explains her reasoning, sharing, “Because that woman already had a successful career like her mother and my Chelsea bear.”
Dani further shared that as a “Proud sister, auntie, and mother to other Dupree debutantes,” she is thrilled to attend the cotillion.
Samantha shares that she is nervous, but Kat tries to put her at ease, sharing, “Oh, we’ve all been there. Excited, nervous, afraid you’re gonna throw up. It’s the cotillion trifecta.”
Chelsea then shared, “Just remember, you own the room. It doesn’t own you.”
Jessica thanks Nicole for allowing her to get ready with the family, to which Nicole says, “You are more than welcome. We, Dupree, believe that getting ready is half the fun.”
The event will also host an exciting dance number with original choreography by acclaimed choreographer Jamaica Craft.
